The Ruler of an Empire is Tested by the Unexpected in New Fantasy Book

Ancient Chinese history collides with the supernatural in the Troy Jackson’s new book, The Elementals.

Upon unifying seven warring states under one banner, the First Emperor of China begins solidifying his power for a visionary thousand-year reign. He starts a series of arduous projects including the Great Wall and the Linqu Canal, cold-heartedly choosing to ignore the physical and emotional toll they have on his people.

The Dragon’s Spite is the only thing standing between the Emperor and his millennial reign. The secretive insurgent group wishes to usurp control of the throne by any means, but must first gather their forces strewn throughout the kingdom. Their biggest challenge by far is to seek out three extraordinary girls who hold vast supernatural powers that can tip the balance in their favor, but they must find them before the Emperor does.

Troy Jackson currently resides outside of Atlanta with his wife and daughter. His passion for history, fantasy, and science fiction began at an early age with a little nudge from his brother. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Master’s in Teaching from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville. Although new to writing, Jackson intends on writing about subjects that have always fascinated him including fantasy, adventure, science fiction and history.

The Elementals is available in softcover (ISBN 978-1-62137-148-9) hardcover (ISBN 978-1-62137-149-6) and eBook (ISBN 978-1-62137-150-2) from Virtualbookworm.com, Amazon.com, and Barnesandnoble.com.
