Human and Fairies Join Forces to Save Universe in Romantic Novel

In Patrick Madden’s second novel, The Lock of Tianaju’s Hair, readers enter the alternate universe of Fairyland – filled with fantasy and alluring magic – where danger and romance seem to go hand-in-hand.

Welusa, a human boy, and Tianaju, the fairy Emerald Queen of Children, met years before when Welusa was just a little boy. Infatuated by Tianaju and her story, the young boy begged to have a memento to remember her. Tianaju, in exchange, gave him a lock of her magical, blond hair which Welusa would grow to cherish. To commemorate his love for Tianaju, Welusa writes her biography, allowing the world to hear her fantastic story.

To thank Welusa for his dedication, love, and telling her story, Tianaju brings him to Fairyland once he reaches adulthood. Upon arrival, danger simultaneously enters both of their worlds. This dangerous force cannot be destroyed by fairy magic; the only hope is the sheer determination of the human Welusa and his unfaltering love for the Emerald Queen. Will Welusa and Tianaju be able to stop the destruction coming upon both of their worlds? Will the quest and an unexpected event shatter Welusa’s lifelong love for the beautiful queen?

Patrick Madden is a Welshman born in a mining town called Blaenavon. His mother was Welsh and his father, Irish. He wed a local girl and married life took them to Scotland and then to Ireland. Now he is retired. He has five children and loves them all dearly. The inspiration for his first story, A Name with No Meaning, came from his youngest daughter, Julie. He had always intended to write a follow-up story. While he was on holiday in Wales, he was lucky enough to take a photograph that became his inspiration to begin writing it. He would like to dedicate this story to his lovely, patient wife Lorraine.

Captivating story, I thoroughly enjoyed this exciting humorous romantic novel. I have read it three times and just love it. It takes you into another dream world. Brilliant 5 stars.
