Literary agent Allison Kryszka travels to the south of France to see her longtime author-client Elliot Gaston. He first tells her of his terminal illness, but shocks her with his assertion that he is over 100 years old, born in the United States as Dillan Murphy.
Gaston-Murphy presents her with a manuscript and begins to recount his strange life narrative to her. Spanning the entire twentieth century as a journalist and writer, he attempts to convince her of the truth of his longevity. By reliving events of his life with such detail, he hopes that she will accept what seems impossible in order to publish his manuscript.
His story is a tale of wars, adventures, loves, and tragedies spanning two normal lifetimes. It is a story of surviving dangers while navigating a life that no one would understand.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I have enjoyed several careers, first as an engineer, then operations management, and finally as a senior executive in manufacturing. Twenty years ago I seriously began writing novels. While still active in business, writing increasingly commands my energy and passion. Evermore is my third novel.
I live in Southern California with my wife Josie. Our shared passion is traveling, particularly to Europe. My stories frequently employ locations that we know from our own travel experiences.
Look to my stories to be fast-paced, reality-based, extensively researched, a bent to explore history, with vivid characters, salted with adventure, and peppered with romance.
