ABOUT THE AUTHOR

David Michaelson has been a line cook, kitchen manager and chef/owner of the popular Cozy Cafe. He has been a cabinet maker, furniture maker, US Navy Patternmaker and trailer manufacturer.
This silver medal award-winning cookbook was followed by "Has Been," a photographic history of what has gone before, including vintage and pioneer recipes along with their modern-day counterparts.
David has published two novels. "Rapscallion Summer" is historical fiction about the adventures of his twelfth summer in 1955. The other, "The Centauri Intervention," is pure science fiction and deals with the rigors and horrors of deep space travel to colonize the distant Alpha Centauri solar system.
David is writing the sequel to "The Centauri Intervention" and is deep into an action/adventure novel about a Navy Seal who is captured and tortured during the drug wars of the 1980s.
