ABOUT THE AUTHOR

João Teixeira is a full professor of philosophy in São Paulo, Brazil. He hold a Ph.D. from the University of Essex (U.K.) In 1995 and 1998, he was a visiting fellow at the Center for Cognitive Studies at Tufts University under the supervision of professor Daniel Dennett.
