"Dancing with Shadows" describes the history of two characters who were introduced in "Birds of a Feather" and who were deeply involved in the defeat of Lucifer in "Cirque Diabolique." The story is set mainly in Haiti and recounts the evolution of Henrí and Geneviéve "Vivy" Charbonneau as strong, resilient characters. Adventures with Voodoo gods and Cherokee manitous lead the pair a merry chase. The story is told by the couple's friend, Jacques Gaillard to Court Layton as they fly to Jamaica for Court's reunion with his father.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Clara M. Miller was born in Buffalo, New York. In 1975 she moved to San Jose, California and, upon her retirement in 1990, made a final move to the coastal town of Florence, Oregon where she lives with her mother, Ann Miller and their bosses "Dear Abby", an interesting mix of various canine breeds and "Miss" Kitty who rules them all.
