ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hal McBride was born and raised in Stigler, Oklahoma. He graduated from Stigler High School, received the majority of his undergraduate education at Arizona State College (Now Northern Arizona University) in Flagstaff, Arizona. He completed his Masters and Doctoral degrees at the University of Tulsa. Following a long and successful career in forensic evaluation and private education, Dr. McBride now resides with his wife, Billie Jean, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He writes a weekly column, Just Thinkin’, that appears in newspapers in rural Oklahoma and Kansas.
The Last Dance in Delta is his sixth book following his acclaimed memoirs, To Bear Witness and Billie and the Boys, two historical novels, Who Be Dragons and Gatewood, and Just Thinkin’, a prized collection of his columns.
